Q: Where is Mississauga Ramblers based?
A: Mississauga Ramblers is a Mississauga, Ontario, Canada based Cricket Club.
Q: Where do we play?
A: Our home ground is Iceland. Just off Hwy 403. Close to Hershey Center/Iceland arena. The park is called Red brush Park. Driftcurrent Dr. takes you to the ground. Also, our away games could be played at other grounds.
Q: What facilities are at the ground?
A: We have two practice nets. 5 Natural turf wickets and 1 artificial turf wicket.
Q: How Can I join the club?
A: Its pretty simple. Download the form from the website and submit along with the fees.

Q: What is the fees?
A: Fees is $450 for adult members and $250 for Junior members (Under the age of 19 years). We do have associate membership for $275. Associate members play friendly cricket. You can also become our supporter for $100, this gives you access to our facilities but you do not take part in any matches. However, only immediate family members of our players can become our supporter members.
Q: What does the fees include?
A: Fees includes the membership, opportunity to play in any of our competitive teams, summer practices, use of facility and ball fees. It does not include uniforms and match fee. Match fee is generally divided amongst players playing the game to cover the umpire fee. For juniors, fees include match fees for their T20 league matches.
Q: How Can I pay fees?
A: You can hand in cheque or cash to the treasurer. In addition you can e-mail money transfer, use e-mail id pankajg14@hotmail.com. Preferred mode of payment is cheque, made payable to Mississauga Ramblers Cricket, Sports and Cultural Club or M.R.C.S.C.C.
Q: When is the fees due?
A: Fees is due by April 30th. After that there is a fine of $25 for late submission. You will not be allowed to play without submitting the full fees.
Q: We are two players from same family, is there any discount?
A: We encourage families to take part in the sports. We do have an incentive program but for junior players only coming from same family. The first member pays full fee and other subsequent members pay half of their fees.
Q: What are other incentive programs?
A: For any sponsorship money you bring in, 25% of the sponsorship goes towards your fee. Also, if you refer a junior player and he/she joins Ramblers, you get $50 incentive towards your fee.
Q: Can I combine the incentives together?
A: No, you cannot combine incentives.
Q: Which leagues do you play in?
A: In 2016, we played in Toronto and District Cricket Association (TDCA) - 7 teams and Hamilton and District Cricket League (HDCL) - 1 team.
Q: How many teams do you have?
A: In 2016 we had 8 senior teams, TDCA-7 teams (Super 6, Elite, Premier, 1st, 2nd and 3rd), HDCL-1 team (Elite) and a Social team. All these teams participate primarily in 40/50 over matches. In addition to these senior teams we participated in TDCA at junior level also (U13, U15 and U17)
Q: How is the selection done?
A: Once you start practicing with us, we assign you a team based on your skill level. During the season promotion and demotion is done based on your performances.
Q: How many games you get?
A: On an average a senior player gets minimum 12 games. But again it depends on your availability and selection on the teams plus your performance. For juniors, it depends on how many league games are there.
Q: Do you play T20 games?
A: HDCL has a T20 tournament which we participate in. Also, we have our own Ramblers T20 which is played during a weekday. This is done to give more games to our members plus gives us exposure to each other and increases camaraderie within the club. Currently we levy $30 for playing in our T20 tournament, which is only for our members.
